In light of the tremendous effort of my friends, family and the people who visited needakidney.org I plan to transform this site into a non-profit organization. Our mission will be to connect people with kidneys worldwide. Please continue to check back over the next few weeks to see our progress.

Every once in a while an extraordinary individual performs a completely unselfish act in response to a call out for help. Matt has been truly blessed to have such a person enter his life.

His transplant surgery is scheduled this Friday September 26th.

To the several other heroic men and women who actually began the screening process, completed the questionnaire, and were willing to be a donor we extend our heartfelt thanks…there are no words to express our level of gratitude.

To the countless number of people around the world who have sent on their prayers and best wishes we say God Bless you. It is our intention to continue this site in a different format and help others who are in need of kidney donation.

Matt is now on dialysis. He is waiting for a donor to be approved by the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital transplant team. Our heartfelt thanks to anyone who is considering becoming a potential donor. It is our hope that Matt will find a compatible donor match very soon.
